Maxiview® shutters by Sound and Safe Roller Shutters are designed to protect windows against glare and heat, while still giving great access to natural light and views.

Internal blinds are ineffective against heat intake as they allow the heat to pass through the glass window before reaching the blind. Maxiview® shutters are fitted to the outside, therefore acting as a barrier against the heat, creating an insulating air pocket between the shutter and the window, thus cutting direct sunlight by up to 81% and heat intake up to 70% while expanding out 5 metres.

Maxiview® is ideal for both commercial and residential use in reducing heat intake, cutting glare and providing increased protection to glass areas from both storms and vandals. They can also be locked for added security.

Maxiview® for Glass Roofs
Glass roofs are becoming more popular in modern home designs and give access to natural light and improved views. But with this design is the inherent problem of excessive heat gain during the summer months, heat loss during winter and the lack of privacy.

Now this can all be solved with Maxiview® roof shutters, which provide 70% reduction in heat gain, reduce glare, prevent fading of furnishings and provide privacy and storm protection. The unique design of Maxiview®, allows light to pass through while deflecting the outside heat. This is performed by a series of perforations in the shutter profiles (over 55,000 perforations per square metre).

Manufactured from marine grade aluminium interlocking profiles, Maxiview® shutters can be powder-coated or anodised to suit any decor, therefore providing the most aesthetically pleasing result possible.

Another advantage of Maxiview® shutters, is that their design allows for a much tighter rolling action than that of conventional shutters, therefore they retract into a smaller pelmet (or housing) which can also be coloured to your needs.

The shutters can also retract fully into the pelmet when not required, therefore they are not a permanent obstruction like most external louvre blinds, and due to their rigid construction they are not vulnerable to high winds or hail. Even the angle of the glass is no problem, as Maxiview® shutters can run uphill.
